Role Summary/Purpose: As Data & Analytics Project Manager, you will be responsible to define, implement and support BI project activities. The individual will focus on the clarification of business requirements, specifying technical solutions and leading and delivering change while providing support & expertise in Business Intelligence & Analytics tools.
Essential Responsibilities:
- As a Project Manager with deep technical expertise, you will be responsible for ensuring successful planning, execution, monitoring of Data Analytics Projects within the assigned Business function

- Responsibilities will include working with functional users, rapid prototyping & developing key dashboards to track key KPI’s & Business metrics.

- Strong understanding of RDBMS, Data Warehousing, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Integration (ETL, EAI), Data Replication, Data and Process modeling in an Oracle/Greenplum Big Data environment

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

- Ability to see the big picture with a demonstration of strong business acumen identify data integrity problems and work with the support teams to correct issues

- Ensure all assigned projects or changes follow the appropriate process/methodology and remain within Change governance

- Lead projects to drive simplification, digitization/automation and standardization of technical processes and metrics across reporting and analytics platforms

- Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOP’s) related to reporting and analytics tools are complete, accurate and up-to-date

- Keep up to date on Business Intelligence / Analytics tool sets & trends
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology (IT) or Computer Science

- Atleast 5+ years of experience & extensive knowledge of SQL and using data visualization tools (QlikView, Business Objects, Tableau or similar technologies)

- Previous experience as Data Analysts, Data exploration, preparation & modeling

- Demonstrated skill in the use of analytic software tools or languages (e.g. Python, R, SAS)

- Hands-on experience in visualizations in UI tools like Qlikview, Tableau ; Prototyping tools like Invision.

- Deep Understanding of Commercial, Finance & Supply chain domain areas, KPI’s & metrics.

- Attention to detail, while maintaining an accurate, results-oriented mentality.

- An ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment

- Excellent oral & written communication skills at all levels

- Proven ability to leverage support within a Matrix environment

- PMP or Scrum certified
- Demonstrated skill in critical thinking and problem solving methods
- Uses appropriate facilitation techniques to gain agreement or move others to action.
